- Q: How does a wine tasting work?
A: Our Wine Tasting Experience consists of four sample pours for $15 per person. This tasting fee is waived with the purchase of two bottles or more per person. You are welcome to select any available wines for your sample pours. For groups of six or more, we may pre-select the wines for you.
- Q: Are you dog friendly?
A: While dogs are not permitted inside our Tasting Room, they are more than welcome to wait on the grass outside while you enjoy your tasting experience!
- Q: Can I order wine online?
A: Yes, head to our Online Store to select the wines you would like, and we will be more than happy to ship your wine directly to your door! You are also welcome to pick up your order at the Tasting Bar when it’s ready.
- Q: Where do you offer shipping to?
A: We offer shipping to all provinces across Canada. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to ship internationally. Pricing varies by province.
- Q: Do you offer shipping if I purchase at the Tasting Bar?
A: Absolutely! If you are unable to take your wine home with you after your Wine Tasting, we are more than happy to ship it for you, with applicable shipping and handling fees.
- Q: Do I need to make a reservation for Wine Tasting?
A: While we do encourage reservations, we also welcome walk-ins, availability permitting. Reservations can be made by contacting the Tasting Bar or online via Tock.
- Q: Are you an estate winery?
A: Yes, we own all of our own vineyards and currently farm four vineyards and approximately 25 acres in the South Okanagan Valley. While we have been farming and producing wine in the South Valley for almost 20 years, Rainmaker Wines is our latest endeavour in this expanding industry.
- Q: Are your wines vegan?
A: Yes, all of our wines are vegan and contain no animal byproducts in the production process.
- Q: Are your wines organic?
A: While we are not currently certified organic, we are consistently moving towards more sustainable growing and production practices. This includes using untreated wooden and non-galvanized posts in newly planted vineyards, fertilizing our soil with organic compost, and being mindful when choosing sprays or products for our vines.
- Q: Do you allow children?
A: Yes, children are welcome inside the Tasting Bar so long as they are accompanied by an adult.
- Q: How long does a wine tasting take?
A: A typical wine tasting lasts approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your group size.
- Q: Do you have a maximum group size?
A: We accept groups of up to eight guests. If you have any questions or concerns about your group size, please do not hesitate to contact our Tasting Bar to discuss further.
